Because out here, you will learn that real business is quite different from what you have read in Kotler's or Robinson's book. Our induction programme grooms you to shoulder the huge responsibilities at an early age& learn real-time business, thus become the world-class manager that every individual aspires for.

Induction

We are known for the importance we accord to learning. The time and money that we invest on strengthening the fundamentals, we believe gives us very good return in future. We have a formal and structured induction for all new joinees (from campus and laterals).

Our training provides inputs not only in ones own core functional area but also across all key cross functions in the company. Each new recruit undergoes the plant, depot & project training stint irrespective of the function he/she is in.


We have a structured orientation programme for our Executive Trainees (management graduates and engineers who join us directly from campus).

The induction Process at UPL can be coined as four fold approach. The entire process is divided into four parts. The layout of the Executive Trainee (E.T) program (induction Programme) is based on the premise that Training & Cross-functional exposure are two key organizational levers that promote career growth at UPL.

We have evolved a Performance focused management system which values performance on qualitative & quantitative parameters, demonstrated allegiance to company values, team-based work and contribution towards institution building.

We even nominate our Potential employees for Management development Programme to ISB and IIM who could shape in leadership roles. 

  • Parivartan magazine: we have got in-house magazine Parivartan which helps everyone to abreast with the latest events, products, new initiatives with respect to domestic marketing and sales.
